SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Taninthayi Region, Kachin, Rakhine and Mon States and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were about May average temperatures in Sagaing Region, Kachin and Shan States, (5°C) above May average temperatures in Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kayin and Mon States and (3°C) to (4°C) above May average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (42°C) each in Monywa, Nyaung Oo, Chauk, Minbu and Magway. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Kawthoung (1.57) inches and Kyaukphu (0.23) inch.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy in the Andaman sea and South Bay and partly cloudy elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 11th May, 2015: Rain or thundershowers are likely to be scattered in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin and Chin States, isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Taninthayi Regions, Shan (Northern) and Mon States and weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (60%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of rain or thundershowers in the Northern Myanmar areas.
