28-11-2024: According to the observations at (15:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Deep Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal has moved Northwards. It is centered at about 715 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 255 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Chennai(India). Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (4.5) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (23) miles east of Homalin), latitude 24.85°N, longitude 95.29°E, depth (118) kilometers about (75) miles northeast of Tamu seismological observatory was recorded at (21)hr (51)min (23)sec M.S.T. on 4^th April, 2018
