28-11-2024: According to the observations at (05:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Deep Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal has almost stationary. It is centered at about 730 Nautical miles West-Southwest of CoCo Island (Myanmar), 265 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Chennai (India). The centre pressure of Deep Depression is 999 hPa and maximum wind speed near the center is 35-40 miles per hour. Weather is cloudy over the Southwest Bay and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Water level forecast for Second (10) days of March 2018

           The water levels of Ayeyarwady river are forecast to rise about (1-2) feet at Myitkyina, Bhamo, Shwegu, Katha, Thabeikkyin, Mandalay, Sagaing, Myinmu, Pakokku, Nyaung Oo, Chauk, Minbu and  Magway, and about (½-1) foot at Aunglan, Pyay, Seiktha, Hinthada and Zalun during the second (10) days of  March.

           The water levels of Chindwin river are forecast to rise about (½-1)  foot at Hkamti, Homalin, Phaungpyin, Mawlaik, Kalewa, Minkin, Kani and Monywa during the second (10) days of March.
