23-11-2024: According to the observations at (15:30) hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area has formed over East Equatorial India Ocean and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may further intensify into a depression over South Bay of Bengal around 25-11-2024. Thereafter, its likely to move Northwestwards and may reach to Tamil Nadu(India)-Sri Lanka coasts during next 2 days. Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

\Bay of Bengal Condition

Two Low Pressure Areas may form over the Bay of Bengal and one may further intensify into a Depression. Monsoon is likely moderate to strong in the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

Rain Conditions and Rainy Days

Above normal rain are likely in Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States, below normal in Sagaing, Chin and Kayah States and about normal in the remaining Regions and States.

Rainy days are expected about (25) to (28) days in Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States, (15) to (19) days in Sagaing, Chin and Kayah States and (20) to (24) day in the remaining Regions and States.
