24-11-2024: According to the observations at (17:30) hrs M.S.T today, the well marked low pressure area over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining East Equatorial Indian Ocean still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may further intensify into a depression over South Bay of Bengal around 25-11-2024. Thereafter, it is likely continue to move Northwestwards and may reach to Tamil Nadu (India)-Sri Lanka coasts during next 2 days. Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea, South Bay and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Water level forecast for Third (10) days of February 2018

The water levels of Ayeyarwady river are forecast to rise about (½-1) foot at Myitkyina, Bhamo, Shwegu, Katha, Thabeikkyin, Mandalay and Sagaing, forecast to fall about (½) foot at Myinmu, Pakokku, Nyaung Oo, Chauk, Minbu, Magway, Aunglan, Pyay, Seiktha,  Hinthada and Zalun during the third (10) days of  February.

 The water levels of Chindwin river are forecast to fall about (½) foot at Hkamti, Homalin, Phaungpyin, Mawlaik, Kalewa, Minkin, Kani and Monywa during the Third (10) days of February.
