28-11-2024: According to the observations at (12:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Deep Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal has moved Northwards. It is centered at about 725 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 255 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Chennai(India). Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea.

Water level forecast for Second (10) days of February 2018

The water levels of Ayeyarwady river are forecast to fall about (½) foot at Myitkyina, Bhamo, Shwegu and Katha, forecast to rise about (½) foot at Thabeikkyin, Mandalay, Sagaing, Myinmu, Pakokku, Nyaung Oo, Chauk, Minbu, Magway, Aunglan, Pyay, Seiktha, Hinthada and Zalun during the second (10) days of  February.

The water levels of Chindwin river are forecast to fall about (½) foot at Hkamti, Homalin, Phaungpyin, Mawlaik, Kalewa, Minkin, Kani and Monywa during the second (10) days of February.
