SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past 24 hours, rain or thundershower have been fairly widespread in Kachin State and isolated in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Magway, Taninthayi Regions and Northern Shan State. Weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were 3°C above April average temperature in Kachin State, 2°C above April average temperatures in Magway, Lower Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were 43.9°C in Chauk, 43.0°C in Myinmu, 42.6°C in Magway, 42.5°C each in Taungdwingyi and Sinbyugyun, 42.0°C in Minbu, 41.8°C in Nyaung Oo, 41.7°C each in Myingyan and Monywa and 41.6°C in Gangaw on 22-4-2025. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were 0.39 inch in Muse, 0.16 inch each in Putao and Myitkyina and 0.08 inch each in Coco Island and Machanbaw.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 24th April 2025: Rain or thundershower will be Fairly widespread in Kachin State, scattered in Upper Sagaing Region and isolated in Mandalay, Lower Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and (Northern and Eastern)Shan State. Degree of certainty is 80%. Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
