BAYINFERENCE: According to the observations at 17:30 hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Westcentral Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move nearly North-Northeastwards. Thereafter, it is likely to weaken gradually over the central Bay of Bengal during next 12 hrs. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 11th April 2025: Rain will be fairly widespread in Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and scattered in Bago, Upper Sagaing Regions, Kachin, Chin, Kayin and Mon States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is 80%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Yangon, Bago, Ayeyarwady,Taninthayi Regions. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 5-8 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Rain or thundershower fairly widespread to widespread in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine, Shan States.
