BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at 05:30 hrs M.S.T today, the well marked low pressure area over Southwest and adjoining westcentral Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move North- Northwestwards.Thereafter, it is likely to recurve North-Northeastwards and weaken gradually over central Bay of Bengal on 10-4-2025.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 8th April 2025: Rain will be isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachine State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Lower Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah, Chin, Rakhine, (Northern and Eastern)Shan States and fairly widespread  in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is 80%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Kayin, Mon States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 5-8 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Rain or thundershower scattered in Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Shan States.
