BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 14th July 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions, scattered in Magway Region and Northern Shan, Kayah States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region and isolated heavyfalls in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is 100%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Shan, Rakhine, Mon States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 35-40 m.p.h. Wave height will be about 8-10 feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
