SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the
past (24) hours,rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Kachin
State, fairly widespread in Sagaing Region, isolated in Mandalay and Magway
Regions, Shan and Chin States and weather has been partly cloudy in Bago,
Yangon and Taninthayi Regions, Rakhine and Mon States, generally fair
in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (3°C) to (4°C)
above April average temperature in Eastern and Southern Shan States,
about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States.
The significant day temperatures were (42°C) each in Chauk, Minbu,
Magway, Aunglan, Pyay and Bawlakhae. The noteworthy amounts of
rainfall recorded were Homalin (0.79) inch, Putao (0.47) inch and
Kanbalu (0.39) inch.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair in the Andaman Sea and
North Bay and partly cloudy elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 7th April, 2015: Rain
or thundershowers are likely to be scattered in Upper Sagaing
Region, Kachin and Chin States, isolated in Lower Sagaing and
Mandalay Regions, Shan State and weather will be partly cloudy
in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (60%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of likelihood
of isolated rain or thundershowers in the Northern Myanmar areas.
