BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 9th July, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, scattered in Naypyitaw, Shan, Kayah and Kayin States, fairly widespread in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions and Chin State and widespread in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Rakhine and Mon States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Taninthayi Region and  Kachin and Rakhine States. Degree of certainly is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coast. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35) m.p.h. Wave height will be about (6 - 9) feet along Myanmar Coast.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Moderate monsoon.
