SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, light rain or thundershowers has been isolated in Taninthayi Region, weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sgaing Region and Kachin State and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures was (3°C)below December average temperature in Northern Shan State, (3°C) above December average temperatures in Kachin and Rakhine States, (2°C) above December average temperatures in Upper Sagaing and Bago Regions, Chin and Mon States and about December average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (4°C) each in Namsam and Heho, (5°C) in Pinlaung, (6°C) each in Thipaw and Loinlin and (7°C ) each in Hakha, Tiddim and Pyinoolwin.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and generally fair elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 15th DECEMBER, 2017: Rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Taninthayi Region. Degree of certainly is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3 - 5)feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Slight decrease of night temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin, Shan and Chin States.
