BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is vigorous over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and weak to moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 19th JUNE, 2018: Rain will be isolated in  Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions and Nothern Shan State, scattered in Bago Region, ( Southern and Eastern) Shan State, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Kachin, Rakhine and Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with  isolated heavy falls in Taninthayi Region, Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough sea are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40) m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (9 - 12) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama and off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and about (4 - 7) feet in off and along Rakhine Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of increase of rain in Taninthayi Region, Kayin and Mon States.

FORECAST FOR NAYPYITAW AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 19th JUNE, 2018: Isolated rain.  Degree of certainty is (100%).

FORECAST FOR YANGON AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 19th JUNE, 2018: One or two rain.  Degree of certainty is (100%).

FORECAST FOR MANDALAY AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 19th JUNE, 2018: Isolated rain.  Degree of certainty is (80%).
