BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and weak to moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 4th JUNE, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Bago Region, Southern Shan, Kayah and Mon States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kayin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavy falls in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin, Chin and Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35) m.p.h. Sea will be slight to moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (7 - 9) feet in off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and about (3 - 5) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama and off and along Rakhine Coasts.
