SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region, scattered in Lower Sagaing Region, Kachin, Northern Shan and Chin States, isolated in Mandalay, Magway and Ayeyarwady Regions, weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw and Kayin State, partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (2°C) below April average temperature in Upper Sagaing Region, (2°C) above April average temperatures in Kachin and Mon States and about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (42°C) in Chauk, (40°C) each in Minbu, Magway, Taunggu and Bawlakhae. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Tamu (1.10)inches, Mawlaik (0.55)inch, Mingin (0.24)inch and Gangaw (0.19)inch.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Bay and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 12thAPRIL, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State, isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Taninthayi Regions, Shan, Chin, Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3 - 5) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
