SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, light rain have been scattered in Kachin State and isolated in Kayah State, weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) below February average temperature in Kayin State, (2°C) above February average temperatures in Lower Sagaing and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin, Northern Shan and Chin States, (3°C) above February average temperatures in Mandalay and Bago Regions, (Eastern and Southern) Shan, Rakhine and Kayah States and about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (6°C) each in Namsam, Heho and Mongyang, (7°C) in Thipaw, (8°C) each in Hakha and Tiddim. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded was Bawlakhae (0.16)inch.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the North and Central Bay and a few clouds over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 10th FEBRUARY, 2018: Likelihood of isolated rain in Bago Region, Kachin, (Eastern and Southern) Shan, Rakhine, Kayah and Kayin States. Degree of certainly is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3 - 6) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
