BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (17:30) hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining East Equatorial India Ocean still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may further intensify during next 24 hrs. Thereafter, it is likely to reach over Southwest Bay of Bengal (off Sri Lanka - Tamil Nadu Coast, India) around 11-12-2024. Weather is cloudy over the South Bay and Eastcentral Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 9th December 2024: Likelihood of light rain will be isolated in Southern Shan State and scattered in Taninthayi Region. Degree of certainty is 60%. Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Taninthayi Region. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-7 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated light rain in Naypyitaw, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Shan, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States.
