SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain have been scattered in Southern Shan State and isolated in Bago, Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Kayah State and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 2°C below November average temperature in Kachin State and 2°C above November average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah, Mon States, 3°C to 4°C above November average temperature in Shan State and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 2.0°C in Hakha, 7.8°C in Putao, 8.7°C in Pyinoolwin, 9.2°C in Tiddim, 9.5°C in Myitkyina, 10.8°C each in Namsan(Southern Shan) and Heho, 11.2°C in Machanbaw and 12.9°C in Pinlaung. The noteworthy amount of rainfall record was 0.04 inch in Loilin.
BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (12:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Deep Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal has moved Northwards. It is centered at about 725 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 255 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Chennai(India). Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 29th November 2024: Weather will be partly cloudy Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Kayin, Mon Staes. Rain will be scattered in Shan State and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is 80%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Taninthayi Region. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 5-8 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated to scattered rain in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Bago Regions and Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah States.
