SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain have been scattered in Taninthayi Region and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 4°C below November average temperature in Rakhine State, 2°C below November average temperature in Chin State and 2°C above November average temperature in Mon State, 3°C above November average temperature in Eastern Shan State and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 1.7°C in Hakha, 6.4°C in Pyinoolwin, 7.6°C in Tiddim, 8.1°C in Namsam(Southern Shan), 9.0°C in Loilin, 9.8°C each in Pinlaung and Heho, 10.6°C in Myitkyina and 11.2°C in Putao. The noteworthy amount of rainfall record was 1.34 inches in Kawthaung.
BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (12:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal has moved North-Northwestwards and further intensified into a Deep Depression. It is centered at about 780 Nautical miles West of Coco Island(Myanmar), 430 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Chennai(India). Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea, South Bay and Central Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and North Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 27th November 2024: Rain will be scattered in Taninthayi Region and isolated in Naypyitaw, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is 80%. Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Taninthayi Region. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 5-8 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated to scattered rain in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah States.
