SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain has been isolated in Taninthayi Region and Kayin State. Weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Magway, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Eastern Shan, Kayah, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 4°C below November average temperature in Chin State and 2°C below November average temperatures in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago Regions and (Southern and Eastern)Shan State and 2°C above November average temperature in Mon State and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 1.0°C in Hakha, 7.0°C in Pyinoolwin, 7.1°C in Namsam(Southern Shan), 7.3°C in Tiddim, 8.7°C in Loilin, 9.2°C in Heho and 10.0°C in Mongyang. The noteworthy amount of rainfall record were 1.96 inches in Kawkareik and 0.04 inch in Dawei.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 18th November 2024: Rain will be scattered in Taninthayi Region and Kayin State and isolated in Bago, Yangon Regions and Kayah, Mon States. Degree of certainty is 80%. Weather will be generally fair in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Rakhine State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Kayin State. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 3-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated to scattered rain in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States.
