SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Mon State, fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region, scattered in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Southern Shan, Kayin States and isolated in Mandalay Region and Kachin, Kayah States. Weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were 2.13 inches in Paung, 1.10 inches each in Thaton and Mudon, 0.94 inch each in Yangon(Botahtaung) and Kungyangon, 0.87 inch in Phyarpon, 0.71 inch in Kawthaung, 0.65 inch in Kyaukpadaung and 0.47 inch in Yangon(Manyangone).
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 31st October 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region, scattered in Ayeyarwady Region and Kachin, Mon States and isolated in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon Regions and Southern Shan, Kayah, Kayin States.
