BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (12:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Depression over Eastcentral Bay has moved West-Northwestwards. It is centered at about 210 Nautical miles West of Hainggyigyun(Myanmar), 390 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Sagar Island West Bengal (India). Weather is cloudy over the Andaman Sea, North Bay, Eastcentral Bay and Southwest Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 23rd October 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Northern Shan, Kayah States, scattered in Kachin and  (Southern and Eastern)Shan States, fairly widespread in Sagaing Region and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine State. Degree of certainty is 100%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Naypyitaw, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Southern Shan, Kayin, Mon States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Frequently squalls with rough and very rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 50-55 m.p.h. Wave height will be about 11-15 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Fairly widespread to widespread rain or thundershowers with likelihood of regionally and isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States.
