SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing Region and Chin, Kayah States. Rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Taninthayi Region and Southern Shan State, fairly widespread in Mandalay Region and Kachin, Eastern Shan States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Ayeyarwady Region and Northern Shan, Mon States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were 1.88 inches in Wundwin, 1.57 inches in Machanbaw, 1.42 inches in Kyaukse(Lunkyaw), 1.18 inches in Loilin, 1.14 inches in Kyeikkhame, 0.98 inch in Mudon, 0.80 inch in Paukkhaung, 0.76 inch in Myittha and 0.75 inch each in Mongyang and Mawlamyine.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the Northeast Bay and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal. Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 11th October 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Taninthayi Region and Eastern Shan State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Southern Shan States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayin, Mon States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is 100%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Sagaing,Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 3-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
