BAY INFERENCE: Southwest monsoon has been withdrawn from Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and Deltaic Myanmar areas. Weather is partly cloudy over the Northeast and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal. Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 8th October 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Naypyitaw and Chin State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago Regions , scattered in Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, (Northern and Southern) Shan States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Magway Region . Degree of certainty is 100%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Naypyitaw,  Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin ,Chin, Rakhine States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 3-6 feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Weak monsoon over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST FOR YANGON AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 8th October 2024:                 Likelihood of isolated light rain with partly cloudy. Degree of certainty is 60%.
