SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Shan and Kayah States, fairly widespread in Sagaing Region, scattered in Naypyitaw, Mandalay and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin and Chin States, isolated in Magway, Bago and Ayeyarwady Regions, Rakhine and Mon States and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (3°C) to (4°C) below April average temperatures in (Northern and Eastern) Shan State, (2°C) below April average temperature in Kayah State, (5°C) above April average temperature in Kachin State and (2°C) above April average temperature in Kayin and Mon States and about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (42°C)each in Chauk, Sinphyugyun and Taunggu, (41°C) each in Magway and Pauk. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Hkamti(1.18)inches, Pinlaung (0.98)inch, Loikaw (0.74)inch, Maungdaw (0.71)inch, Minesat (0.67)inch, Myinmu (0.59)inch, Mingin, Naypyitaw(Zayarthiri) and Pauk (0.39)inch each, Namsam and Nyaungshwe (0.35)inch each, Naypyitaw Airport (Ela) (0.32)inch, Tongzan and Monywa (0.27)inch each.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is cloudy over the Southwest Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
