SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing Region. Rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Southern Shan, Mon States, fairly widespread in Kachin State, scattered in Bago, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine, Kayin States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Mon State. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were 3.03 inches in Mudon, 1.11 inches in Hpa-an, 0.83 inch in Minhla, 0.72 inch in Madauk, 0.63 inch in Putao, 0.51 inch in Zalun, 0.50 inch in Paing Kyone, 0.48 inch in Tada U (Avia-Met), 0.46 inch in Letpandan and 0.43 inch in Myitkyina.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloud over the Northeast Bay of Bengal. Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 01st October 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing Mandalay Regions and Kachin, Shan States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Yangon,Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon states and scattered in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Shan, Mon States. THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Shan, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-7 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
