BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (15:30) hrs MST today, the Deep Depression over the West Bengal(India) and adjoining Bangladesh almost stationary still persists. Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 17th September 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Northern Shan, Kayah States, scattered in Lower Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagain Region and (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Chin, Kayin, Mon States and widespread in Taninthayi Region and Rakhine State. Degree of certainty is 100%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Naypyitaw, Taninthayi Region and Kachin, Shan, Kayah States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 30-35 m.p.h. Wave height will be about 7-9 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Moderate to strong monsoon over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal.
