BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 29th August 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Magway Region and Kachin, Northern Shan, Kayah States, scattered in Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Eastern Shan State, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw and Chin State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Sagaing, Mandalay, Taninthayi Regions. Degree of certainty is 100%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Sagaing, Mandalay, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, (Northern and Southern) Shan, Chin States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Occasionally squall with rough seas will be experienced in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coast. Surface wind speed in squall may reach 40 mph. Wave height will be about 9-11 feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coast. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 5-7 feet in off and along Rakhine Coast.
