BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (17:30) hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over West Bengal, India and adjoining Bangladesh still persists. It is likely to move Westwards and may cross West Bengal, India. Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 23rd August 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Magway Region and Kayah State, scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Kachin, Northern Shan States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region and Mon State. Degree of certainty is 100%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and (Northern and Southern) Shan, Chin, Rakhine States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar Waters. Wave height will be about 6-8 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
