BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (17:30) hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over West Bengal, India and adjoining Bangladesh still persists. It is likely to move Westwards and may cross West Bengal, India. Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 23rd August 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing Region, scattered in Northern Shan, Kayah States, fairly widespread in Mandalay, Magway, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Eastern Shan, Rakhine, Mon States. Degree of certainty is 100%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Upper Sagaing, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and (Northern and Eastern) Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar Waters. Wave height will be about 6-8 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
