SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Upper Sagaing Region, isolated in Kachin and Chin States, weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (3°C) to (4°C) above April average temperatures in Yangon and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin and Mon States, (2°C) above April average temperature in Kayin State and about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (41°C) each in Chauk, Magway, Bawlakhae and Theinzayet, (40°C) each in Naypyitaw(Yezin), Pyinmana, Nyaungoo, Minbu, Aunglan, Taungdwingyi, Sinpyugyun, Taunggu, Nyaunglaybin, Phyu, Gyobingauk, Hmawbi, Hinthada, Zalun, Hpa-an, Kawkareik and Mawlamyine. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Tamu (0.39) inch, Hkamti (0.12) inch and Kalewa (0.08) inch.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is cloudy over the South Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 13thAPRIL, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin and Chin States, isolated in Lower Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions and Northern Shan State. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3 - 5) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of day temperatures in Naypyitaw, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions, Kayin and Mon States.
