SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing Region. Rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Upper Sagaing, Magway Regions and Northern Shan State, fairly widespread in Mandalay, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Rakhine, Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Naypyitaw and isolated heavyfalls in Rakhine State. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were 3.34 inches in Sittwe, 2.87 inches in Hlegu, 2.75 inches in Taunggu, 2.52 inches in Bago, 2.37 inches each in Naypyitaw(Zayarthiri) and Shwekyin, 2.28 inches in Minesat, 2.24 inches in Putao, 1.94 inches in Pinlaung and 1.89 inches in Madauk.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 4th August 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing Region, scattered in Mandalay, Magway Regions and Northern Shan, Kayah States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Rakhine States. THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Rakhine States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar Waters. Wave height will be about 6-8 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
