FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 2nd August 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing, Scattered in Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kayah State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Chin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Mon State and isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Magway, Bago Regions and Southern Shan, Rakhine, Kayin States. Degree of certainty is 100%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Upper Sagaing, Magway, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times in off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 35 mph. Wave height will be about 8-10 feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
