BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and strong elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 3rd July 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing, Magway Regions and Kayah State scattered in Mandalay Region and (Northern Shan State, fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region and (Southern and Eastern) Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Region and Rakhine, Mon States. Degree of certainty is 100%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Yangon, Ayeyarwady Region and Kachin, Rakhine States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 35 mph. Wave height will be about 8-10 feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 5-7 feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.
