BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and strong over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 28th June 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Kayah State, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing , Yangon Regions and Kachin, Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is 100%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 35-40 mph. Wave height will be about (8-10) feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (6-8) feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.
