BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 22ndJune 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kayah State, scattered in Lower Sagaing Region and Kachin, (Northern and Eastern)Shan States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing and Chin State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing, Tanintharyi Regions and Mon State. Degree of certainty is 100%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing Upper Sagaing, Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin State.
STATE OF THE SEA: Squall with rough seas are likely at times in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (35-40) mph. Wave height will be about (9-11) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts .Sea will be slight to moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. and (6-8) feet off and along Rakhine Coast.
