BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 7thJune 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in
Chin State, scattered in Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kachin State, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw and (Northern and Eastern) Shan, Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Rakhine,Mon States and isolated heavyfalls in Ayeyarwady Region and Southern Shan, Kayin States. Degree of certainty is 100%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Shan, Rakhine States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times in off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 30-35 mph. Wave height will be about 7-9 feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuations of increase of rain in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Mon States.
