BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Northwest and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 30th May 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Mandalay, Magway Regions and Eastern Shan, Kayah States, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing Region and (Northern and Southern)Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing, Bago Regions and Kachin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is 100%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Eastern Shan, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35) mph. Wave height will be about 7-9 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of advancement of Southwest monsoon into the Northern Myanmar Areas.
