BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and a few cloud over the elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 18th May 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region and Kachin, (Northern and Eastern) Shan States, scattered in Upper Sagaing, Yangon Regions and Southern Shan, Mon States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is 80%.
THE CONDITION OFCUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Northern Shan, Mon States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 5-7 feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of scattered rain or thundershowers in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Chin, Kayin, Mon States.
