BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 18th May 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Taninthayi Region and Eastern Shan, Kayin, Mon States, fairly widespread in Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Southern Shan State, scattered in Bago Region and Kachin, Northern Shan, Kayah States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is 80%.
THE CONDITION OFCUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Shan, Kayin, Mon States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 5-7 feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
