SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Bago, Yangon and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Southern Shan, Chin, Rakhine and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (2°C) above March average temperature in Rakhine State, (3°C) to (4°C) below March average temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region and Eastern Shan State and (2°C) below March average temperatures in Mandalay Region and Northern Shan State and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (40°C) each in Chauk and Bawlakhae and (39°C) in Kawkareik.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North Bay and East central Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 21st MARCH, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Taninthayi Region. Degree of certainly is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3 - 5)feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated light rain or thundershowers in Taninthayi Region, Shan, Kayin and Mon States.
