SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Chin State and isolated in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and (Northern and Eastern)Shan State. Weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Ayeyarwady Region and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (2°C) above March average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Bago Region and Kachin, Eastern Shan, Kayin, Mon States and (3°C) below March average temperature in Chin State and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (41°C) each in Chauk, Pyay, Shwekyin and Myawaddy and (40°C) each in Nyaung Oo, Naypyitaw(Zayarthiri), Pyinmana, Magway, Aunglan, Taungdwingyi, Sinbyugyun, Taunggu, Zaung Tu, Nyaunglaybin, Laydatpyin, Hpa-an, Belin and Theinzayet. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (0.08) inch each in Falam and Mogoke.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and Southwest Bay and a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 30th March 2024: Light rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Northern Shan, Chin, Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
