BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 16th January 2024:  Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Mandalay Region, scattered in Naypyitaw and Shan State. Degree of certainty is (80%).  Weather will be generally fair in Lower Sagaing Region and Chin State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-6) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated light rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Shan States.

FORECAST FOR NAYPYITAW AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 16thJanuary 2024: Isolated rain or thundershowers. Degree of certainty is (100%).
