SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Taninthayi Region and Kayah, Kayin States. Rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Mon State, scattered in Lower Sagaing Region, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Magway, Yangon Regions and Northern Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) above December average temperatures in Yangon Region and Chin State, (3°C) to (4°C) above December average temperatures in Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States, (5°C) to (6°C) above December average temperatures in Sagaing, Magway Regions and Kachin, (Northern and Eastern)Shan States, (7°C) above December average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Mandalay Region and (8°C) above December average temperature in Southern Shan State and about December average temperature in Taninthayi Region. The significant night temperatures were (5°C) in Hakha, (8°C) in Tiddim and (10°C) in Tongzan. The noteworthy amount of rainfalls recorded were (2.72) inches in Shwekyin, (2.32) inches in Rambree, (2.05) inches in Madauk, (1.33) inches each in Manaung and Yangon(Mingaladon), (1.07) inches in Taunggu and (0.87) inch each in Hakha and Kyauktaw.
BAY INFERENCE Weather is a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 10th December 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Shan, Rakhine States.
