SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Mon States and scattered in Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions. Weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) below November average temperature in Chin State and (2°C) above November average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Ayeyarwady Region and Eastern Shan State, (3°C) above November average temperatures in Southern Shan, Kayah States and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (4°C) in Hakha, (8°C) in Mongyang, (9°C) in Tiddim and (10°C) in Pyinoolwin. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (2.05) inches in Kyeikkhame, (1.97) inches in Myeik, (1.61) inches each in Yangon(Mayangone) and Chaungsone, (1.30) inches in Hpa-an, (1.17) inches in Mawlamyine, (1.14) inches in Kyeikmayaw and (1.06) inches in Maubin.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 13th November 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Mon States, scattered in Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and isolated in Naypyitaw, Magway, Bago Regions and (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Kayah States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing over the Taninthayi Region. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as thunder, lightning, hail and isolated rain or thundershowers may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
