BAY INFERENCE: Weather is cloudy over the Northeast Bay of Bengal. Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and weak elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
SPECIAL FEACTURES: According to the observations at (17:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Typhoon “Koniu” over the Phillippine Sea is likely forecast to move Westwards and may cross Southern part of Taiwan Island during next (12)hrs.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 05th October 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Taninthayi Region and Mon State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Southern Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin States, scattered in Bago Region and Eastren Shan State and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region. STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (6-8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
