BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (17:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the Northwest Bay and adjoining(North Odisha-West Bengal)coasts, India, has reached to North Odisha, India. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and weaken gradually. Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 15th September 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Kachin State, fairly widespread in Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region and Mon State and isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine, Kayin States. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35-40) m.p.h. Wave height will be about (8-10) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
