BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (05:30) hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the Northwest Bay and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal off south Odisha-north Andhra Pradesh coasts(India) still persists. It is likely to move nearly Westwards and cross south Odisha and south Chhattisgarh during next (12)hours. Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 06th September 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in (Northern and Eastern) Shan State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at time off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35-40) mph. Wave height will be about (8-10) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
