BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
SPECIAL FEACTURES: According to the observations at (05:30) hrs MST today, the tropical depression over the South China Sea has moved Northwestwards and it is likely to move West-Northwestwards.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 15th July, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Magway Region, fairly widespread in Sagaing Region and Kachin, Northern Shan, Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Rakhine, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squall with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coast. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (30-35) mph. Wave height will be about (7-9) feet in Myanmar Coast.
